Programs are constantly evolving at Three D Radio, and announcers inject their own flavour into each show they produce.
Some shows will have a naturally short lifespan, but others will thrive and entertain year after year. Some of our longest running shows on Three D include Smash it Up, The Prison Show, Blues Power, Hillbilly Hoot and the Environment Show.

Announcers are free to play whatever they wish - there are no playlists at Three D Radio - and that makes us pretty unique!

TUESDAY
drive time features red hot rockabilly and
exotica mixed up with dreamy creamy mashed
potato pop, funk, plus lots of local
sounds and the occasional VIP
guest. We
dig a kooky theme show the
most. Clap
your peepers on our regular
features... 'ARE
WE THERE YET?' And
charge your glasses at the end of the show
with our 'KNOCK OFF DRINK'. It’s
(the whole) kit &
caboodle. |
In
Track is a show aimed towards people
under 35. It features mainly new music and
band interviews. Playing a wide range of
indie electro, rock, pop, and alternative
tunes, the show is something you must
listen to if you're into music! In
Track's presenter, Cale, lives in the
Three D Radio CD library. Seriously. he
does. If there's a new album to come into
the station Cale won't miss it. There
are many bands interviewed on In
Track, some of which are fairly huge!

Playing
music that is both loud and heavy and
featuring genres such as hard rock,
thrash, grind, hard core, power metal,
glam, black metal, death, ambient, goth,
nu-metal and much more. The
show features the occasional Guests,
Requests and Six of YOUR Best - plus
regular features such as the Metal gig
guide [10pm] followed by the
Powersurge Top 10 chart. We
enjoy playing a variety of local,
interstate and international bands and
feel the name POWERSURGE is
synonymous with the true meaning of
metal! POWERSURGE
proudly supports local

The
Vanishing Point is Three D's
experimental music radio show.
"Experimental" is defined loosely but
covers everything from early dada/music
concerete to modern electronica, ambient,
industrial, power electronics, EBM,
neo-folk, noise, spoken word and the just
plain bizarre. The
show, originally called "Osmosis" dates
back to the earliest days of Three D Radio
and has witnessed several DJs. Current
host, G.G. Alan Bindig has manned the show
since 1997. |

On
the air every Saturday night between 7 and
9pm, the Top 20+1 is Three D’s
own Chart Show…with a
difference. We
count down the 21 most played new releases
by our announcers over the previous week.
Three D does not playlist, nor are we
particularly concerned with record sales;
we play music because we dig it! In this
way, the Chart provides a weekly sonic
snapshot of Three D’s unique sound.
It’s the only place you’ll hear
local artists’ bedroom-recorded demo
disks do battle with big-budget
platinum-selling productions to snatch
that coveted Number 1 spot! The
weekly Charts are compiled to form the
impressive Top
101,
broadcasting each year in

of new released music and a smattering of

50s and early 60s, the Doo Wop
Corner is for you! Most famous
examples are Sh'Boom, Blue Moon, I wonder
